Relaxation

“Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax” - Mark Black

It all starts with being able to relax.

Practicing ‘relaxation’ is paramount to managing stress. When we relax, the flow of blood increases around our body giving us more energy. It helps us to have a calmer and clearer mind which aids positive thinking, concentration, memory and decision making. Relaxation slows our heart rate, reduces our blood pressure and relieves tension. It also aids digestion as we absorb essential nutrients more efficiently when relaxed, which helps to fight off disease and infection

Office Yoga

In office yoga, we focus on mobilizing the body parts that are most affected by the long hours you spend sitting down working.

Office yoga has two goals. A physical goal and a mental goal.

The physical purpose is mainly prevention-oriented. The goal is to reduce symptoms, give people more energy and develop better focus. The mental goal is more about how comfortable you are in your body. By adopting the right attitude, you will automatically feel better and more self-confident.

Below you can find a scientifically based infographic on the left. On the right, there is a card you can print out and take with so you can do the exercises no matter where you are.
